About

Established in September 2000, Casa Del Popolo (The House of the People) is Montréal’s only family-run neighborhood vegetarian hot-spot! Part fair-trade café, part music venue, part resto-bar and part art gallery.

The Casa holds up to 55 people and is an intimate and warm place to see live performances. We are open from noon for soup, salad and sandwiches. Come on by and enjoy a relaxing afternoon.

Weekly FREE events at Casa include the MONDAY DJ NIGHTS & TUESDAY R’N’R DJ NIGHTS.

Monthly events at casa include the spoken word night, the 3rd Sunday of every month, WORDS AND MUSIC AT THE CASA. We also host a monthly COMIX JAM the last Wednesday of the month, where artists get together to create impromptu graphic art.

We are usually booked 2 months in advance. If you are interested in putting on an event or booking a show, please send us a CD, cassette or a description of the event at info@casadelpopolo.com or to 4873 St-Laurent, Montréal (Québec) H2T 1R6 CANADA. You can also consult our booking section.

Accessibility

Casa Del Popolo is located on ground level. There are ramps on both the venue and bar front entrances for wheelchair accessibility. Washrooms are gender neutral and one is wheelchair accessible.
